A Red Hot Christmas

Everyone had a grand time celebrating the Yuletide Season with "A Red Hot Christmas", OLA's Christmas Party last December 20, 2007. Donned in their bright red tops, the entire OLA Family gamely participated in the festivities from the games, the traditional raffle, the first ever OLA Wacky Awards and the Kris Kringle Revelation.

The merry-making started off with a Christmas Prayer led by Alma. Our dear Dir. AGR then gave his Christmas message. In his inspiring words, AGR emphasized on the spirit of love and forgiveness.

Sir Egay followed with his rendition of "Vincent" (Inspired na inspired si Sir Egay). Atty. Bong's Division facilitated a game which involved bug sprayers and feathers. It was a riot!

The traditional raffle came with a twist. Each person picked by Atty. Kris' Division will pick the number corresponding to the prize and the name of the person who'll get the prize. This twist turned to be a test in one's luck influencing other's fortunes or misfortunes (he he).

The first ever OLA Wacky Awards was held after a round of nominations for each category and voting for the winners. It was riotous and pure unadulterated fun. Each winner received a certificate and a hand-painted personalized mug. Here's hoping for another set of awards next year.

The mommies and daddies found out the identities of their babies under the code names. It was interesting to learn the reasons behind the code names which vary from the profound to the mundane.

The celebration was topped off with a sumptuous dinner and "magic" singing at Kamayan Saisaki Dad's at West Avenue.

It was indeed a great time to unwind and nurture the bond the holds the entire OLA Family.

Merry Christmas to all.
